Saint Francis Hospital and Health Centers sponsors three weekly radio programs broadcast on four AM stations. The purpose is to inform the community of available services and programs while putting a human face on healthcare through the men and women who provide those services and programs.

Public Relations Coordinator Larry Hughes hosts and produces the programs and does the interviews. “Ask the Nurse” (Monday at 9 a.m.) features four rotating nurses representing Orthopedics, Trauma Services, Surgical Services and Home Care. “Ask the Doctor” (Wednesday at 9 a.m.) also features four rotating guests representing Emergency Services, General Hospital Care (Hospitalist); Cancer and Behavioral/Mental Health.
“Ask the Nurse” and “Ask the Doctor” are broadcast live simultaneously on WLNA (1420 AM, Brewster), WBNR (1260 AM, Beacon), and .WGHQ (920 AM, Kingston). Listeners are invited to call (1-877-803-4648) and ask questions on the subjects under discussion.
Both shows are followed at 9:30 a.m. by editions the “Saint Francis Good Health Show,” a recorded program also heard Saturday at 9:30 a.m. on WKIP (1450 AM Poughkeepsie).
